Rome, GA Industrial Electrical Technician Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Industrial Electrical Technician to support the electrical systems that power our world-class battery manufacturing facility. This role focuses on infrastructure—not production machinery—and requires high-voltage experience and troubleshooting ability.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and maintain plant electrical distribution systems, including: Circuit breakers and contactors 3-phase power distribution 25 kV high-voltage systems Step-down transformers and switchgear VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives) PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) Perform safe lockout/tagout and electrical isolation procedures. Interpret wiring diagrams and schematics. Conduct electrical inspections and ensure compliance with NEC standards. Support plant expansions, upgrades, and power projects.
