Job Description:
The TLSME position is a technicalposition covering all aspects of Transmission line design andconstruction. The applicant will be actively engaged in teammeetings and projects where communication and a team-orientedmindset are critical. Less experienced team members look to theTLSME Team for technical guidance and leadership. The applicantmust be able to assert accurate responses within projecttimeframes. The TLSME Team consists of multiple disciplines; theapplicant must be comfortable engaging other TLSME expertise asneeded to provide the best responses to the Project Engineers.
Applicants must have at least one area of expertise and be capableand enthusiastic to learn areas outside their expertise.
Responsibilities:
Provide A technical support to the ProjectEngineering teams while maintaining the schedule and budget ofassigned projects. Use in depth Transmission line knowledge,teamwork, and engineering judgement to respond to project Requestsfor Information. Develop, interpret, and implement Transmissionline standards. Lead and mentor Project Engineers to betterunderstand technical requirements. Identify and drive opportunitiesfor process improvement.
Experience:
Minimum of 8 years technicallysupporting a variety of Transmission line projects at 230kV orabove. Professional Engineer certification Field experienceExperience developing standards

Excellent communicationskills! Able to convey complex ideas both written and verbally.
Aggressive and team-oriented mindset. Willingness to learn newthings and work outside of your comfort zone. Assertive leadershipqualities proven through project work. Successful experienceworking with diverse teams. Strong problem-solving skills with asense of urgency. Ability to make informed independent decisionswhich are not regularly subject to technical review.
Education:
B.S. in Engineering with a deep knowledge of at least oneTransmission discipline.
