M-F, 40 hours per week. Possibility of OT with permission.

6 month contract + potential extension or conversion
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Transmission Line Design Engineer to join our team. This role involves supporting large capital projects, mentoring and training younger engineers, and contributing to transmission and distribution (T&D) line design. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in transmission line design and proficiency in
PLS-CADD
software.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide expertise in transmission line design using
PLS-CADD
software. Support large capital projects and ensure deliverables are met. Mentor and train younger engineering staff, helping them develop their skills and knowledge. Collaborate with transmission managers and supervisors to ensure project success. Conduct site visits and attend meetings as required. Qualifications (Must-Haves): Extensive experience in transmission line design. 6+ Number of years Proficiency in
PLS-CADD
(required), Strong mentoring and training skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Flexibility to work on-site and remotely as needed. Preferred Skills (Nice to Haves): Experience with other relevant engineering tools and software. PLS pole•AutoCAD, Maximo software (nice to have)
LIDAR, MFAD
(nice to haves) Previous experience in a utility environment. Strong communication and organizational skills.
Location:
New Orleans preferred, open to other corporate locations. Twice a month minimum•Remote based on tenure level
Education Requirements:
