Contract to Di Description ACARA Solutions and our client in McLeansville, NC have a contract-to-hire position available FPGA / Embedded Applications Systems Engineer Here’s what you’d do: As an FPGA / Embedded Applications Systems Engineer (Adv Systems Eng) for Undersea Maritime Systems, you’ll be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for product design from system architecture and requirements allocation and design qualification for FPGA and Embedded Software Applications.
Development of embedded application design details, including functional block diagrams, state and data flow diagrams, ICDs and IDDs
Development and execution of embedded application unit cases and resulting OQE
Electrical/Optical system design, including requirement allocation and decomposition
Requirements Lifecycle Management Job Requirements Required Skills /

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering or Science or Engineering or Mathematics
Minimum 5 years of experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering
Minimum 5 years of experience in the Design and Qualification of electrical systems
Minimum 5 years of experience in Design and Qualification of Optical Systems
Minimum 5 years of experience in new product development and transition to manufacturing Preferred Skills /

Qualifications:

Master’s Degree Agile experience
Clear understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards
Clear understanding of requirements management and system modeling tools
Creative thinker with ability to grasp and new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity
