Essential Functions Serve as subject matter expert (SME) andprimary contact for site

program requirements consistentwith corporate standards and relevant audits, to include to thedevelopment, design, or construction of energy conservationprojects to ensure acceptability of budgets and timelines whileadhering to federal and state laws as well as approvedspecifications Serve as primary technical contact and SMEresponsible for all monitoring energy systems, including motivepower, thermal energy, heating, ventilation, air conditioning(HVAC), or any other relevant systems to determine energy usage orpotential energy savings, to include technical design &/orprocess changes to improve efficiency, quality, or performance inrelation to energy improvement Identify energy saving opportunitiesand make recommendations for operational changes or projects toachieve more energy efficient operation site-wide through effectivemodelling, monitoring, and analyzing energy consumption bothelectrically and thermodynamically Subject matter expert and pointof contact in Recommend technical design &/and or processchanges to improve efficiency, quality, or performance in relationto energy improvement Prepare and present project reports as wellas other program or technical documentation and operational reportsDevelop and support presentations for proposals for alternativeenergy systems and technologies up to the site leadership Serve assite primary contact for construction design information such asdetail and assembly drawings, design calculations, system layoutsand sketches, or specifications related to energy improvementprojects Provide oversight to applicable domestic and internationalenergy certifications Responsible for training development topersonnel or clients on topics such as energy management andpromote awareness or use of alternative energy sources Follow allsafety and environmental requirements in the performance of dutiesPhysical Requirements Moves equipment and/or supplies weighing upto thirty-three (33) pounds. Routinely operates and inspectsmanufacturing equipment. Strap and unstrap pallets. Must be able tobe on your feet for up to a twelve (12) hour shift. May requirecorrected vision to 20/20 or 20/25 based on role. May require colorvision based on role. Occasionally ascends/descends a ladder. Maybe required to work at elevated heights. Occasionally works aroundodorous and/or hazardous materials. May be required to wear latexgloves. May perform critical job functions in extremely cold workenvironments depending on site. May position oneself withinconfined spaces for inspection if required of the role. Ability towork in loud noise environments with hearing protection. May berequired to secure a motorized vehicle license and operate amotorized vehicle based on the role. Qualifications Bachelor’sdegree in engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical) ortechnical degree with a concentration in Thermodynamics from anaccredited university required May consider an associate’s degreein engineering field of study with a minimum of five (5) years ofproven field engineering experience in a manufacturing facilityrequired Minimum of three (3) years of proven field engineeringexperience in a manufacturing facility required Demonstratedknowledge of alternative energy and/or symbiotic system integrationsupporting reduced energy consumption required Proficient withengineering design standards (e.g. for system operations andinteractions) is a plus Demonstrated knowledge of energyassessments in a manufacturing environment preferred Projectmanagement competencies obtained through supporting relevantproject management implementation preferred We commit to aninclusive recruitment process and equality of opportunity for allour job applicants.
