Position Overview/Responsibilities for the

Outside Plant Engineer:

Oversee the management of complex OSP projects involving design and implementation for new and existing fiber deployments
Create and execute plans associated with Metro OSP infrastructure and all associated components
Manage projects from start to finish, including managing outside vendors and subcontractors along with managing the financial and payment aspects of the project
Provide clear communication of technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
Collaborate as part of a team to develop plans and drive important business strategies to provide outstanding customer service, streamline processes, and meet financial goals.
Required Skills for

Outside Plant Engineer:

Extensive background in technical team management and development
Strong background in OSP operations, including construction standards and utility coordination processes
Knowledge and understanding of the pole attachment process or experience with a similar process in another market
Knowledge and understanding of fiber deployment technologies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; interpersonal and collaboration skills
