LABVIEW Development Engineer Position Available In Greater Bridgeport Planning Region, Connecticut

Job Description:

Nesco Resource is in search of a LABVIEW Development Engineerfor one of our clients based in Shelton, CT. This role reports tothe Director of Engineering.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop customLabVIEW software applications for Product Configuration,Semi-Automated Product Test and Automated Inspection. Develop NILabVIEW based data acquisition products for use in a manufacturingenvironment by working with Manufacturing, Engineering, Draftingand Configuration personnel to bring design from concept tomanufacturable product. Oversee PC setup, diagnosis and operationin a network environment. Tests, troubleshoots and repairs NILabVIEW based test products. Writes clear, coherent test proceduresand user’s manuals for NI LabVIEW based products. Providestechnical support to Manufacturing and Product configurationpersonnel as required. Trains manufacturing and technical staff onthe usage of NI LabVIEW based products. Performs other duties asdirected.

REQUIREMENTS

Two years of experience in the developmentof LabVIEW based programs and products or equivalent education;ASEE, BSEE/BSEET or enrolled in a

BSEE/BSEET

program or equivalentexperience. Ability to program in LabVIEW. Able to understandanalog, digital and embedded control electronic circuitry tocomponent level. Experience with National Instruments (NI) dataacquisition products. Able to understand software written in Clanguage. Hands-on experience working in a manufacturingenvironment. Experience with CAN and/or Linux is a plus. Good timeand priority management of multiple assignments.
