job summary: A prominent building products manufacturer is in search of a Product & Development Engineer to focus on commercial windows, doors, curtain walls, and other building products. As a Product Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving construction products, ensuring they meet performance, quality, and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and manufacturing, to drive product innovation and growth.

Nevada, Missouri job type: Permanent salary: $76,000 – 90,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop Building products, including mullions, transoms, glazing, and anchorage systems Conduct structural analysis, thermal analysis, and other simulations to ensure product performance and compliance with building codes and standards (e.g., AAMA, ASTM, IBC) Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to understand customer needs and develop product roadmaps Work with manufacturing teams to ensure design for manufacturability and assembly Develop and maintain product documentation, including design guides, installation manuals, and test reports Conduct testing and validation, including physical testing and review of test reports Troubleshoot and resolve product-related issues in the field Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements #LI-BB1
