- Ensure that the burner system meets the product’s functional requirements (e.g., heat output, efficiency, flame stability, and emissions).
- Optimize burner designs for residential cooking appliances in terms of performance, fuel efficiency, and safety.
- Develop burner system architectures that are cost-effective, manufacturable, and maintainable.
Burner Performance and Optimization:
- Analyze and optimize burner performance (heat distribution, flame control, air-fuel mixing) to meet regulatory standards and customer requirements.
- Improve combustion efficiency and reduce emissions (e.g., NOx, CO, particulate matter) while maintaining safety standards.
- Apply advanced combustion modeling and simulation techniques to predict burner performance under various conditions.
Testing and Validation:
- Design and execute comprehensive testing plans (lab and field tests) to validate gas burner systems for performance, safety, and durability.
- Work closely with testing teams to develop test rigs and procedures, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, such as ANSI, UL, CE, and EPA standards.
