Our client, a leader in the automotive industry, is seeking a Supplier Development Engineer to join their team. As a Supplier Development Engineer, you will be part of the Supply Network Resiliency group supporting the Supplier Partner Development team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

• What’s the Job?
• + Analyze supplier capacity and investment requests to ensure optimal performance.

+ Engage actively with Volvo/Mack suppliers and supply chains to drive improvement. + Assess supplier weaknesses accurately and provide actionable solutions. + Monitor high-risk supplier development issues to prevent crises at Volvo operations. + Drive operational excellence and develop problem-solving techniques for suppliers.

• What’s Needed?
• + A university degree in engineering, business management, or supply chain management.

+ Experience in supply chain quality and development, preferably in the automotive or heavy commercial truck industry. + Strong accountability and project management skills for tasks without close supervision. + Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. + Flexibility and preparedness to travel with short notice.
