Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Product Engineer to lead the planning, development, and lifecycle management of our lithium battery separator products. This role will serve as a vital link between R D, production, sales, and customers—ensuring our products meet evolving industry demands and customer needs. The ideal candidate will have a technical background, strong cross-functional communication skills, and experience working with B2B clients in the battery or materials industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Planning Research customer needs and industry trends in collaboration with sales and marketing teams Develop product roadmaps tailored to client applications Analyze competitors and define differentiation strategy Establish technical specifications based on application requirements 2. R D Collaboration & Project Management Coordinate cross-functional teams (R D, production, QA, etc.) to develop and validate new products Ensure timely execution of product projects from sampling to client feedback closure Prepare product specs, validation reports, and FMEA documents in accordance with APQP standards 3. Customer Support & Market Promotion Interface with client engineers and procurement teams to understand project needs Support sales teams with technical proposals and product positioning Develop product brochures, presentations, and technical materials to support business activities 4. Product Lifecycle Management Drive product improvement and cost optimization based on feedback and trends Manage product phase-outs and replacement strategies Analyze product cost structure and profit margins to support pricing decisions 5. Industry Insight & Strategic Support Participate in technical standard discussions with customers or industry bodies Stay informed on battery policy changes, supply chain trends, and technology innovations
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or above in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields Strong cross-functional communication and project management skills Excellent data analysis, teamwork, and negotiation skills Familiarity with lithium-ion battery systems and separator technologies is a plus Experience with B2B clients preferred (e.g., Tesla, GM, Ford, Apple, CATL, LG, Samsung, AESC, etc.) Proficiency in English and Chinese is preferred
