Our MLN solution is a mix of BPI, ROA and UAA. Understanding of multilayer topology, strong assurance and analytics knowledge is a must.
Resident Engineer responsibilities include:
Assist with troubleshooting of MLN and NHP/UAA issues reported by the client.
Produce bi-weekly open case reports and host review sessions.
Configure MLN and NHP/UAA solutions (lab and production) per the client recommendations based on use cases, new features delivered, etc. and perform associated testing and validation.
Lead patching activities (lab and production) for MLN and NHP/UAA and perform associated testing and validation. Create test results document and host review sessions.
Provide administrative support for the MLN and NHP/UAA solutions.
Develop and maintain documentation, including system configurations, troubleshooting guides, training materials, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Onboard additional FSAs into MLN.
Assist the client in utilizing MLN and NHP/UAA to investigate and troubleshoot real-world issues during incident management. Determine ways to utilize the solutions to optimize workflows and processes to improve operational efficiency.
Conduct on-the-job training with the user community on how to use the MLN and NHP/UAA solutions and interpret results based on client’s network.
Lead use case workshops based on topics from the MLN and NHP/UAA Verizon user community, with results and follow up action items documented.
