Job Description As a Business Development Engineer I, you will contribute technical expertise while ensuring exceptional service delivery to clients. We are seeking a driven individual who embodies high-impact behaviors, fosters innovation, demonstrates leadership, and maintains accountability for driving success.
Key Responsibilities Account Management :
Serve as the primary relationship owner and technical resource for designated accounts. Deliver superior customer service and develop customized account plans.
Territory Development :
Travel within the territory to grow Priority OEM accounts, Emerging Winner accounts, and Priority Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) accounts. Meet revenue targets, manage budgets, and track performance metrics.
Sales Pipeline Management :
Build and maintain sales pipelines for Priority OEM, Emerging Winner, and CMO accounts. Accurately document interactions in the CRM system.
Strategic Alignment :
Develop and implement integrated strategies that align activities with customer priorities. Conduct regular internal reviews to monitor progress.
Technical Support :
Provide support to accounts by managing specifications, requirements, and technical decision-making. Deliver product training and lead technical presentations.
Continuous Improvement :
Coordinate Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) and Value Improvement Process (VIP) activities for priority and other accounts.
Project Management :
Offer project management support to accounts, ensuring smooth transitions into the production phase. Required Skills Knowledge of medical devices, especially catheters. Ability to provide technical solutions and guidance to customers effectively.
Additional Qualifications Education and Experience :
Engineering related degree & 1-3 years w/ a combination of sales and catheter experience is ideal.
Technical Skills :
Demonstrated understanding of customer-focused account planning and CRM systems.
Communication and Leadership :
Strong interpersonal and technical presentation skills.
