Job Description
Summary:
Seeking an RF Design Engineer with extensive experience in SATCOM systems for prototype creation and testing.
Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship required. Master’s Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics with MBA or equivalent business education/experience. Minimum 20 years of experience in military or commercial SATCOM.
Preferred Skills:
Ph.D. preferred.
Responsibilities:
Design and optimize components for land-based SATCOM systems. Collaborate on analog design related to RF designs and logic circuits integration. Break down system requirements into hardware specifications for RF products. Lead development of hardware/software requirements for SATCOM products. Conduct link budget analysis for satellite terminals across X-, Ku-, Ka-bands. Design waveguide structures and filters for systems up to 40 GHz. Interface with satellite providers/government entities on certifications. Develop test specifications, analyze data, and lead corrective actions. Enforce structured design process from requirements to aftermarket support. Coordinate technical requirements with business development strategy. Participate in make/buy decisions, proposal preparation, and pricing reviews.
