Job Description
RF Engineer Exciting opportunity at one of the top defense companies! Description We are seeking a highly skilled RF Test Engineer to support the development, testing, and production of advanced RF systems for mission-critical defense applications. This role is essential to ensuring the performance, reliability, and compliance of RF hardware used in high-stakes military and aerospace environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive test methods and specifications for RF components and subsystems in accordance with defense and military standards (e.g., MIL-STD). Conduct detailed performance analysis and validation of RF hardware, ensuring compliance with stringent reliability and environmental requirements. Collaborate with product development teams to provide technical input and support the creation of formal engineering documentation. Support the assembly, integration, and testing of deliverable hardware during the manufacturing phase, ensuring readiness for deployment in defense systems. Independently troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, applying innovative solutions to meet program objectives and timelines. Work closely with cross-functional teams including systems engineering, quality assurance, manufacturing, and test technicians to ensure seamless product development and delivery. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing test efficiency, product quality, and mission assurance.
Qualifications:
Strong foundation in RF engineering principles and hands-on experience with RF test equipment (e.g., spectrum/network analyzers, signal generators). Familiarity with defense industry standards, high-reliability design practices, and secure manufacturing protocols. Experience supporting products used in military, aerospace, or other high-assurance environments. Ability to interpret complex technical documentation including schematics, block diagrams, and test plans. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, secure environment. Effective communication and collaboration skills, especially in multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Contractor will be working on First Shift Monday-Thursday from 6:30am to 4:00pm.
