About the

Role:

Ready to make a difference? BAE Systems is looking for Integration and Test Lead to work as part of a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary team to design, integrate, debug, and test novel RF systems. Focused on delivering innovative solutions, individual technical contributions on a range of Programs will include test planning activities, system integration & test, qualification testing, and test execution in a field deployment environment.

Responsibilities may include:

+ Provide technical oversight to integration & test (I&T) efforts to ensure that the overall I&T program will adequately confirm to expectations + Leading a small, medium or large team of engineers on RF related programs + Creating system test plans, procedures, and reports + Leading product integration and verification + Supports proposal development activities, including proposal text development, cost and schedule estimating, and presentation activities. + Support program technical execution and ensure a proper amount of engineering rigor is applied + Develop test and verification strategies that help minimize program cost and technical risk + Define test and verification methods, events, and constraints for all requirements; develop and manage the overall Program Test Plan. + Design test and validation approaches to ensure the system fulfills its operational objectives and stake-holder requirements in its intended operational setting. + Work with customer and program leadership to coordinate, schedule, and ensure readiness to perform test events + Lead by example and be willing to mentor, coach, train, guide, direct and advise teammates Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a

  • Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • + Experience with RF hardware and software systems, common industry architectures, and/or software defined radios + B.

S. in STEM with 10 years, or M.S. with 8 years of experience in RF systems engineering (preferably requirements evaluation and development). + Self-motivated proactive person with a team player mentality. + Highly organized, detail-orientated. + Willingness to learn and share knowledge. + Proactively provides ideas/thoughts and accepts constructive criticism. + Values brainstorming and fostering strong team relationships. + Possesses both strategic thinking skills and tactical execution skills. + Strong communication skills (verbal & written). + Active Top Secret clearance.

  • Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range:

$146670 – $249330 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
