We leverage engineering expertise to enhance product quality, efficiency, and sustainability, actively participating in APQP teams and implementing cutting-edge solutions to minimise waste and maximise operational efficiency. Our mission is to continuously improve plant processes, layouts, and equipment to uphold the highest standards of quality and safety while exceeding customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

Participate in APQP Team as Process Engineering representative.
Determine best method to salvage non-conforming material.
Review process for material savings, scrap reduction, material -handling reduction, and operator efficiency improvements, making rmendations, and implementing upon approval.
Develop new production methods using engineering fundamentals.
Develop and implement new production equipment to improve quality of product, improve efficiency and reduce scrap.
Develop plant layout to improve process flow and maximise material handling.
Formulate, update and enter Bill of Materials software system.
Conduct capacity studies.
Develop internal quotations for new products as needed.
Develop the DFMEA, DFM/A and other engineering disciplines if specified by the customer.
Provide support for machinery and equipment failure troubleshoot and repair.
Develop and implement PLC and Robot programs modifications for product and process changes. Experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens, Fanuc and ABB.
Analyze plant processes, design and implement improvements.
Troubleshooting issues with hardware and processes.
Plan preventative maintenance.
Work with others to detect problems and implement solutions.
Maintain quality and safety standards are upheld.
What we are looking for:
Must have PLC & Robotics programming experience.
BS in Engineering or High School diploma
3 years Industrial Process related experience.
Automotive plant experience desired but not required.
Experience in layout and process flow required.
Proficient in AutoCAD.
