Engineering Manager Job Summary:
Top client seeking a highly skilled FANUC Robot Specialist to support, program, troubleshoot, and maintain FANUC robotic systems across manufacturing and automation environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with FANUC robot programming, integration, and optimization to ensure efficient and reliable production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Program, test, and modify FANUC robots using teach pendant and offline programming tools (e.g., Roboguide) Support integration of FANUC robots with PLCs, HMIs, and other automation systems Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of robotic systems Install and commission new FANUC robotic cells and end-of-arm tooling Optimize cycle times and improve robotic process efficiency Provide technical support to maintenance and production teams Document programming and system changes accurately Ensure all robotic systems comply with safety standards and regulations Train operators and technicians on proper robot usage and safety procedures Collaborate with engineering and controls teams on new automation projects
Qualifications:
3+ years of hands-on experience with FANUC robots (programming, integration, and troubleshooting) Strong understanding of robot safety, I/O configuration, and motion control Familiarity with Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLCs is a plus Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Willingness to travel (Up to 40% overnight) Technical diploma or degree in robotics, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or related field preferred
