Position Summary:

This position will support and contribute to the company goals of 10-20-4 and zero injuries. Under minimal supervision performs daily maintenance and programming support to all robotic systems. Seeks to identify process and performance improvement opportunities of robotic systems. Looks for opportunities to introduce new robot systems that will reduce cost and/or improve quality. Assist in the development of tooling and programs. Job:

Adheres to established Safety initiatives, policies and procedures Research and recommend various types of equipment for purchase in manufacturing. Perform preventive or corrective maintenance on robotic systems or components. Advanced troubleshooting of robotic systems Maintain service records of robotic equipment or automated production systems. Maintain operational records or records systems. Advanced Programming of robotic systems with the ability to train and mentor. Prepare procedural documents. Assemble equipment or components. Assist engineers in the design, configuration, or application of robotic systems. Develop tooling and fixtures for robotic systems Maintain inventories of materials, equipment, or products Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA’s): Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to communicate with various levels within the organization. Advanced computer skills with regards to robotic welding and automation. Computer software, data entry, data retrieval and data analysis skills required. Ability to read blueprints. Problem solving and advanced troubleshooting skills required. Able to work overtime, weekends and/or holidays as required.

Education and Experience:

Technical Degree in Robotic or Industrial Technology, or a related technical field is preferred. Minimum five to ten years’ experience operating and programming welding robotic systems. Successfully meets and exceeds the requirements of Robotic Technician II.
