What You Do What You Do Responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training programs focused on maintenance skills across multiple crafts. You will ensure that our team is proficient in the operation and troubleshooting of robotic systems, PLCs, and mechanical systems. As a part of the above, and on an ongoing basis will also: Establish strong team member relations, at all levels and provide support for people development, coaching, and mentoring with a focus on teamwork and inclusion Work closely with advisors from Mazda and Toyota Develop and deliver training sessions that cover multi-craft maintenance, including but not limited to PLC programming, robotics, mechanical systems, and troubleshooting techniques. Create comprehensive training materials, including manuals, guides, and presentations, for new hires and existing team members. Conduct hands-on training on systems including but not limited to Mitsubishi PLC, Omron PLC, Kawasaki robots, and Yaskawa robots. Assess and evaluate the skills of team members, ensuring they meet required performance standards. Provide ongoing support and coaching to employees to enhance their knowledge, development, and troubleshooting abilities. Stay current with the latest technologies and industry standards to ensure training programs are up to date. Demonstrate leadership by fostering a Mazda Toyota culture of continuous improvement, safety, and teamwork within the maintenance department. Maintain accurate records of training progress, certifications, and employee performance. Collaborate with leadership to identify areas for improvement and ensure that training initiatives align with organizational goals. Performs other related duties as assigned by the department Be available to work outside of normal work schedule, including but not limited to weekends, holidays, shutdowns, and travel as needed (domestically and internationally) What You Bring High school diploma or GED Strong knowledge of maintenance principles, troubleshooting, and repair processes. Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver training programs. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in both classroom and hands-on training environments. Ability to work with various company partners to procure both training equipment and training material. What Will Set You Apart 2 years of experience in multi-craft maintenance, including experience with robotics, PLCs, and mechanical systems. Experience with Mitsubishi PLC, Omron PLC, Kawasaki robots, and Yaskawa robots. Certification in relevant training or technical fields. Ability to adapt training methods to different learning styles and needs. Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
