Hours:

2nd shift: Monday to Friday 3:30pm to 12am •(Overtime might come as late as 1 or 2am when needed) •Some Saturdays might be required for a few hours when needed Job Description The Locus Robot Operator is responsible for overseeing the operation and performance of Locus Robotics autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) within the warehouse. This role ensures that robotic workflows run smoothly, troubleshoots minor issues, and supports warehouse efficiency by optimizing robotic operations.

Essential Job Functions:

Monitor and manage Locus robots to ensure efficient material movement and order fulfillment. Assist with robot deployment, system startups, and operational resets as needed. Troubleshoot minor software or hardware issues and escalate complex problems to the technical support team. Ensure robots are charged, maintained, and operating within performance standards. Monitor system dashboards and reports to track robot productivity and efficiency. Coordinate with warehouse personnel to optimize robotic workflows and reduce bottlenecks. Maintain accurate records of robotic performance, errors, and maintenance activities. Follow company safety protocols and ensure robots operate within designated pathways. Assist in process improvements and provide feedback on robot performance and warehouse layout optimizations

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or experience with automation preferred. Experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or working with automated systems. Basic troubleshooting skills in software and hardware systems. Comfortable using tablets, dashboards, and other digital interfaces to monitor robot operations. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving technology.

Other Skills/Abilities:

Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new robotic systems and software. Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends if needed.

Physical Demands:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Frequent bending, lifting, and reaching (up to 50 lbs.). Working in a warehouse environment with moderate noise levels and varying temperatures.
