The rate of pay depends on experience $65k-$120k annually. This position follows a Monday-Thursday 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM and Friday 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM schedule. Robotics Technician Summary The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Robot Operation and automation systems, with a focus on maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal functionality of our systems.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Implement and maintain robots and robotic programming to enhance efficiency and productivity. Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and diagnostics on existing robot systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to robot, HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), and associated equipment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement upgrades or modifications to existing systems to meet evolving business needs. Provide technical support and training to maintenance technicians and operators regarding robotic systems and automation equipment.
Qualifications:
Robotic programming, Automation, or related fields. Proven experience working with industrial robots. Strong knowledge of robot programming and experience with various robot hardware and software. (Hyundai, ABB, Kuka, Cloos experience a plus) Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing faults in robotic systems and associated components. Familiarity with HMI systems and their integration with robots and PLCs. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Prior experience in performing maintenance, upgrades, and modifications to existing automation systems is preferred. Relevant certifications or training in robotic programming and automation technologies are advantageous. Robotic welding experience would be a plus.
Physical requirements:
This position involves regular physical activity, including: Standing for prolonged periods. Frequent bending, kneeling, and crouching. Pushing and pulling heavy objects. Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
