OVERVIEW
Morell Engineering is seeking a Construction Materials Testing/Surveying Technician to collect samples and perform tests on soil, concrete, and aggregate, assist survey crews while conducting various types of surveys, and provide general technical support to engineers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform routine field tests in accordance with ASTM, ACI, AASHTO, or other standardsCollect samples and conduct tests on freshly mixed concreteConduct tests on in-place soilsPerform lab tests on soil, concrete, and aggregateAssist survey crews with various surveysProvide engineers with general technical supportReview and understand project related drawings and specificationsCommunicate effectively with other team membersAdhere to company work hours, policies, procedures, and rules governing professional staff behavior
