LAND SURVEYING CAD TECHNICIAN
Land Precision Corp is accepting resumes for the position of a Survey CAD Technician. Responsibilities will include creating construction staking point files; the completion of survey drawings for As-built, Boundary, Title, Tree and Topographic Surveys. Prepare plats for recording. Examples of Duties:
Responsible for timely and accurate preparation of CAD drawings for Survey projects including commercial Industrial, Boundary, Topographic, and ALTA Surveys Electronic file management and organization for assigned projects. Working with field crews and post processing of collected files, notes, images, etc. Familiarization with local municipal and state drawing requirements for various Survey and platting projects. Online research for parcel information, plats, aerial photography, flood maps, etc.
Abilities:
The ability to learn quickly. Strong computer skills Strong communication skills Strong work ethic Strong analytical ability Ability to work with field crews and CAD personnel effectively. Ownership of assigned projects, solving problems individually as well as by other team members.
Minimum Qualifications and licenses:
Minimum of two years of experience as a CAD technician Able to efficiently use AutoCAD. (Experience using Carlson software is a plus) Able to efficiently use Microsoft office suite programs & windows 360 College Degree or equivalent experience Proven industry skill sets
