The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting land surveys to determine property boundaries, topography, and other geographical features. This role requires a strong understanding of surveying principles and the ability to utilize various surveying tools and technologies. The Land Surveyor will work closely with engineers, architects, and construction teams to provide accurate data for project planning and execution. Duties Conduct land surveys using advanced surveying equipment such as GPS, CAD, and hand tools. Collect and analyze data related to land features, boundaries, and elevations. Prepare detailed survey reports and maps using software like Civil 3D and MicroStation. Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with local regulations and standards. Perform calculations using algebra and other mathematical principles to determine land measurements. Utilize GIS technology for data collection and analysis of geographical information. Maintain accurate records of surveys, including field notes and sketches. Experience Proven experience in land surveying or a related field is preferred. Proficiency in using surveying software such as Civil 3D, MicroStation, CAD, and GIS applications. Strong mathematical skills with the ability to apply algebraic concepts in practical scenarios. Familiarity with GPS technology and data collection methods is advantageous. Experience working with hand tools commonly used in surveying tasks.
