Survey Technician Position Available In St. Lucie, Florida

Survey Technician SurvTech Solutions, Inc. Fort Pierce, FL SurvTech Solutions (SurvTech) is a geospatial firm headquartered in Tampa, Florida, with branch offices in Lakeland, Sanford and Ft. Pierce, Florida; Mobile and Decatur, Alabama; and New Orleans, Louisiana. Since 2004, SurvTech has provided surveying, mapping, and geophysical services throughout the Southeastern US (FL, GA, SC, NC, KY, AL, LA, MS, TN & TX). We have an immediate need for Survey Technicians based out of Fort Pierce, FL. Party Chief:

Looking for a well-rounded surveyor who can perform standard field surveying practices as well as incorporate Excel, basic pdf editing software into the daily workflow. Coordinate and direct survey crew to ensure that the field survey is completed to the standard of practice for land surveying, and within budgetary and time constraints. Must be able to operate survey field equipment and be able to perform physical labor (i.e., strenuous walking, and lifting, hauling equipment). Communication and organization skills are important.

Instrument Operator:

Assist and take direction from the Party Chief. Calibrate and operate specialized survey equipment on site. Collect data and take notes as you survey. All applicants must have a clean driving record. No DUI or Careless Driving charges accepted. Entry level Field Technicians w/o experience starting at $15/hr.
