Survey CADTechnician Job Summary:
The Survey CAD Technician performs tasks in Civil 3D to supportconstruction, including processing various types of base data, fromconventional survey, GPS survey, and aerial photogrammetry andlidar, as needed for layout of site development, including thecomputation of points for survey construction layout, and draftingas-built surveys.
Essential Responsibilities:
Work with Survey Project Manager and Survey Project Surveyor toprioritize CAD tasks, as needed for construction layout, as-builtsurveys, and reduction of data for boundary and topographicsurveys. Active part in QA/QC program for survey department. Maintain records of office documents and final surveys and ofcompleted fieldwork. Stay updated on industry advancements, best practices andregulations related to CAD techniques and technology.
Qualifications:
2+ years of relevant experience working within CAD required. Associate degree or technical schooling in CAD or drafting softwareis preferred, but not required Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention todetail, and ability to work independently. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-pacedenvironment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
