Survey Technician Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Survey Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist with CAD production, survey research, boundary analysis, exhibit preparation, legal description preparation, and survey computations. Responsibilities Assist Professional Surveyors with CAD production, survey research, boundary analysis, exhibit preparation, legal description preparation, and survey computations. Process raw field data through Trimble Business Center and Civil 3D. Perform quality assurance and quality control checks. Coordinate and work with field crews and other office staff. Ensure division, regional, and company values, policies, and practices are consistently followed within the survey service. Lead by example, displaying solid judgment, good values, trust, honesty, openness, and professionalism. Essential Skills Proficiency in survey techniques, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ALTA, and land surveying. Experience with boundary surveys and topographic surveys. Strong listening, writing, and verbal communication skills. Ability to operate AutoCAD Civil 3D for production activities. Knowledge of ALTA surveys, boundary analysis, topographic surveys, preparation of exhibits and legal descriptions, plat preparation, and field crew preparation. Full proficiency in Microsoft Office. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to manage multiple tasks and support project coordination. Experience in interacting with other design services. Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment that is in growth mode.
