The ideal candidate will assist with preparing technical drawings, base maps, and construction documents for civil, environmental, and utility projects. This is a great opportunity to grow your drafting skills while contributing to impactful infrastructure and environmental work. Key Responsibilities Create and edit drawings for site plans, utility layouts, grading, erosion control, and survey deliverables using AutoCAD Civil 3D Translate field survey data into topographic and boundary maps Assist engineers and project managers with plan production, revisions, and document organization Prepare figures and exhibits for permit applications and reports Maintain drawing standards, file management, and QA/QC of plans
Qualifications Education & Experience:
Associate degree or certificate in CAD, Drafting, or related field preferred 1-3 years of experience in civil/environmental drafting or land surveying a plus
Technical Skills:
Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D (experience with Carlson, GIS, or Revit is a plus) Understanding of topographic, boundary, and utility mapping Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and field notes
Soft Skills:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Team-oriented with good communication skills
