This full-time role involves performing a wide range of surveying tasks to support civil engineering projects, including boundary, topographic, construction layout, and

surveys. The position is field-based, with project work primarily in the Birmingham or Gulf Coast areas. A company vehicle will be provided. Key Responsibilities Conduct field surveys for civil engineering and land development projects Operate GPS, total stations, and data collectors for accurate data collection Interpret and apply engineering plans, plats, and legal documents Coordinate with engineers, drafters, and project managers to ensure survey data supports project goals Prepare and maintain accurate field notes and survey documentation Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety protocols May assist with office-based survey calculations and CAD work as needed Qualifications Experience in land and construction surveying preferred Familiarity with survey equipment (e.g., GPS, total stations) and software (e.g., Trimble, Leica, Civil 3D) Strong understanding of boundary, topographic, and construction surveys Ability to work independently in the field and adapt to varying site conditions Valid driver’s license required Relevant certifications or degree in surveying or civil engineering a plus Why Join Us?
