Overview:
An excellent opportunity for a graduate to begin their career in quantity surveying with a well-established, independent construction and property consultancy. You’ll be part of a collaborative team delivering cost consultancy and project management services across a wide variety of sectors, including commercial, industrial, residential, education, and retail. This role offers structured training, APC support, and career progression in a client-facing environment with exposure to all stages of the construction lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of cost plans, tender documents, and bills of quantities Support pre- and post-contract duties including measurement, valuations, and final accounts Contribute to value engineering and cost control throughout the design and construction phases Liaise with clients, contractors, and design teams Attend site visits and client meetings to support project delivery Help prepare progress and cost reports Work toward achieving RICS chartership with full APC support and mentoring
Requirements:
A degree in Quantity Surveying (or related RICS-accredited course) A strong interest in the built environment and cost consultancy Excellent numerical and analytical skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Good attention to detail and a proactive mindset Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with cost management software is advantageous Eligible to work in the UK on a permanent basis
