Position Overview:
Responsible for understanding stateregulation governing land surveying practice. Comprehension of ALTASurveys with an emphasis on topographic features and engineeringdesign alignment. Facilitate meetings and maintain high level ofcommunication with office management and project teams. Thisposition acts as the lead and subject matter expert on-site for anyproject survey related items. Mentor junior technicians whileimplementing best practices and standard operating proceduresallowing growth and success in the role. This is an onsite positionsupporting our site in
Granbury, Texas Location & Travel Details:
You’ll get the opportunity to travel across the US, helping ourteam build renewable projects. This is a traveling position, up to100% of the time. You have the potential to be placed on a projectsite located in any state throughout the US. You’ll spend 8-12months on average per project. We offer designated daily per diemin addition to base pay to support and help you cover livingexpenses. This position is eligible for routine travel home(rotation) from the jobsite. A company vehicle and fuel card willbe provided.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Survey leadership and Engineering to understandsurveying requirements on site Develop comprehensive survey plans,considering project scope, timelines, and budget constraintsCoordinate with Survey leadership to ensure proper equipment,resources, and personnel are allocated appropriately Conducton-site inspections to ensure survey activities align with projectspecification Monitor and supervise surveying teams to guaranteeaccuracy and adherence to industry standards Address and resolveany survey-related issues that may arise during construction Staywell-informed of local, state, and federal regulations related toland surveying Ensure all surveying activities comply with relevantlaws, codes, and safety standards Partner with Survey leadership toobtain necessary permits and approvals for surveying operationsOversee the collection of survey data and review all internal andexternal processed analyses Generate detailed reports summarizingsurvey findings and providing actionable insights Present surveyresults to project management in a clear and understandable mannerFoster effective communication between surveying teams, engineeringteams, and project management Collaborate with engineering andconstruction teams to integrate survey data into project plansProvide regular updates on surveying progress, challenges, andsolutions to project team and Survey leadership Plan daily work forsite survey crew Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Educationand Work Experience Requirements:
Associates or Bachelor’s degreein surveying, remote sensing, drafting, engineering, or relatedtechnical field preferred Five years of survey experience inconstruction or operations with exposure to engineering, civil,renewable energy activities Certified Survey Technician (CST)
