The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting land surveys, preparing detailed reports, and collaborating with engineers and architects to ensure accurate project specifications. This role requires a strong foundation in mathematics and proficiency in various surveying software. The Surveyor will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of civil engineering projects. Responsibilities Conduct land surveys to determine property boundaries and topographical features. Utilize surveying instruments and technology to gather data accurately. Prepare detailed survey reports, maps, and drawings using software such as Revit, Carlson, ArcGIS, MicroStation, and GIS. Collaborate with civil engineering teams to support project design and development. Draft plans and specifications for construction projects based on survey data. Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards throughout the surveying process. Analyze survey data to identify potential issues or discrepancies in project plans. Requirements Proven experience in land surveying or a related field is preferred. Strong mathematical skills to perform calculations related to surveying tasks. Proficiency in surveying software including Revit, Carlson, ArcGIS, MicroStation, and GIS is highly desirable. Knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment. Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
