2880 Are we the road to your future? We are currently searching for an experienced Survey Manager / PSM to support our Southeast Region located in Miami or Fort Lauderdale, FL. To be considered for this position, applicants must have, at minimum, an Associate’s degree from a technical or four-year school. What you’ll be doing: Help build and support new and existing client relationships
Develop fees and write and review proposals
Hire, mentor and train technical staff, including professional land surveyors, survey field crews and technicians
Manage projects to ensure a quality product is delivered on time, under budget and that meets the client needs and expectations
Ensuring compliance with client and company safety regulations What you need to have: Licensed Professional Surveyor and Mapper (PSM)
10+ years of experience in surveying management with the ability to grow and lead a Survey department
Strong professional relationships with local and State DOT’s
Solid self-motivational and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Safety oriented
Technical skills, including AutoCad and/or MicroStation, Trimble equipment and software, laser scanning and drones a plus
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening to ensure a safe and productive work environment. Volkert adheres to federal guidelines, which may include testing for substances such as marijuana. Please note that federal regulations may differ from state-specific guidelines.
Valid driver’s license.
