Duties:
- Very physical work digging to verify utilities which include: Jack hammer Concrete saw Shovel Post hole diggers
- Assist surveyors in conducting land surveys and measurements using various hand tools and equipment.
- Set up and operate surveying instruments such as total stations, levels, and GPS receivers.
- Collect field data and measurements for topographic surveys, boundary surveys, and construction staking.
- Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required to set up surveying equipment and markers in various weather conditions for 10 hours a day.
- Build and maintain survey control points and reference marks.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a survey technician or related field is preferred.
- Being on you feet for long periods of time.
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with surveyors and other team members.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, complete background check and drug screening.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
