Duties and Responsibilities include:
Efficiently operate survey equipment including total stations, levels, GPS equipment, and data collectors. Collection of data and review for accuracy. Ability to work occasionally as a one-person crew following directions from Project Manager. Perform a variety of tasks – Three wire level runs, construction stakeout, As-building utilities and earthwork, ALTA/boundary. Ability to interact with site development crews and job site superintendents. Flexibility to adapt to situations and circumstances. Manual dexterity and willingness to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and terrain environments. Maintain accurate, legible organized records in accordance with all Operations and Work Instructions. Adhere to all safety procedures and policies/procedures. Read and interpret construction plan documents. Self-motivated individual and display initiative. Be safety driven. Maintain a good driving record. Anticipate, prevent and solve problems (proactive vs. reactive) within his/her authority Requirements & Qualifications 5 Years of surveying experience 1 Year survey Crew Chief experience Pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and background check is required Ability to sit, climb, squat, bend or stand for an extended period. In addition, ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Ability to work in a team setting and independently Ability to take directions from management Ability to communicate and report effectively Understand verbal and written English We are a drug free company in accordance with the Florida Drug Free Workplace Act.
