Land survey Crew personell Karner Surveying Inc Palm City, FL 34990 Overview Small Surveying Company is looking to add field personnel. We are hoping to hire experienced, skilled and detail-oriented Field Technicians to join our team. However, we are willing to train as well. The ideal candidate will join the team and conduct field land surveys to determine property boundaries, topography, and construction layout. This role requires a strong understanding of surveying principles and the ability to utilize various field equipment and software. Duties will depend on the position you are hired for but can include: Assist other Team Members in some of the herein listed tasks Collect data related to land features, boundaries, and elevations. Review property improvements to detect possible conflicts. Review construction projects to determine applicable services. Analyze collected survey data using software tools including Carlson software. Prepare detailed survey reports that accurately represent findings. Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate implementation of survey data in construction plans. Maintain equipment and ensure it is calibrated for precise measurements. Communicate findings effectively with office and the Surveyor. Experience We would prefer a fundamental understanding of field crew services and duties. We will be considering training, if fundamental knowledge of computer technology is available and the desire to work in the outdoors. Proven experience as a Field Survey Technician or in a similar role is preferred. Proficiency in data collection techniques and the use of surveying instruments and the Carlson Field Software will also have priority in the consideration. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Requirements Applicants will have to have a valid Florida Drivers License Applicants will have to have their own transportation to and from work. Applicants will have to be physically able to walk and carry equipment for extended periods of time.
