Full-Time We are seeking an experienced and motivated Professional Surveyor and Mapper to join a busy and growing survey & mapping team supporting FDOT and related agencies. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with FDOT District 5 projects , including work for Central Florida Expressway Authority and the Florida Turnpike Enterprise .
Qualifications:
Registered Professional Surveyor and Mapper in Florida 5+ years post-licensure experience Strong knowledge of FDOT survey and mapping standards and submittal processes Familiarity with agencies like the Turnpike Authority and Central Florida Expressway Authority Proficiency in MicroStation and Geopak software with FDOT deliverables Experience producing Right-of-Way Control Surveys , Right-of-Way Maps , and Boundary Surveys Ability to analyze deeds, title reports, and draft/review legal descriptions Detail-oriented, highly organized, and skilled in time management
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and perform complex survey calculations and data analysis Supervise and guide survey analysts and technicians Ensure deliverables meet FDOT specifications and are submitted on time Coordinate with internal teams to meet project deadlines and quality standards Local candidates with FDOT submittal experience will be prioritized. Must be production-driven and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
