Thursday Other:
Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Valid Florida Driver’s License and PBC Risk Management Department driving history approval prior to appointment. Hearing Loss Test required for selected candidate. Technical work assisting, assigning, and reviewing the work of a field survey crew. Schedules field personnel activities; completes daily progress reports; instructs personnel in the use/care of survey instruments and equipment; performs field calculations from boundary surveys, plats, maps, plans, and sketches. Analyzes and compares field data with record data; conducts Boundary, Global Positioning System (GPS), Topographic, Hydrographic, and As-Built surveys; performs related survey work as required. QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation from high school or an equivalent recognized certification; minimum of three (3) years of experience in land surveying work which includes six (6) months of experience directing the work of a survey crew.
PREFERENCE FOR
Associate’s Degree in Surveying; college-level coursework in Land Surveying; Certified Survey Technician (CST) training; one (1) year of Real Time Kinematic (RTK) or Static GPS surveying experience; knowledge of Topographic/Boundary/As-Built Survey (must specify on application) .
