Job Description:

Our client, a fast-growing, technology-driven Land Surveying company, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to review, verify, and certify various types of land surveys. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS land title, and construction surveys, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory and client requirements. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Review and Verify Surveys:

Ensure the accuracy and compliance of completed surveys, including boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS land title, and construction surveys.

Certification & Approval:

Certify and sign off on completed surveys before submission, ensuring they meet legal, regulatory, and client requirements.

Issue Resolution:

Identify and resolve discrepancies or issues with survey data by collaborating with field teams and project managers.

Quality Assurance:

Maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance in all survey deliverables.

Collaboration:

Effectively communicate with survey teams, engineers, and clients to clarify project requirements and ensure accurate completion of survey tasks.

Regulatory Compliance:

Stay up to date with current state and federal surveying regulations and industry standards.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain accurate records for all reviewed and approved surveys.

Remote Coordination:

Utilize digital tools for collaboration, review, and approval processes while working remotely.

Skills & Qualifications:

Professional Land Surveyor (PLS)

License:

Must hold a valid PLS license in Florida.

Surveying Expertise:

Strong understanding of surveying principles, technology (e.g., GPS, GIS, AutoCAD, Civil 3D), and regulations. Attention to

Detail:

Exceptional ability to identify issues and ensure high-quality, compliant deliverables.

Communication Skills:

Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently and remotely.

Experience:

Physical Requirements:

Work Schedule:
