Survey Instrument Man (1 Year Experience Required) EEFS Company Atlanta, GA 30310 Job Overview EEFS Company is a civil engineering and land surveying company based in Bessemer, AL. A Survey Instrument Man/Rodman is needed to assist the Survey Party Chief in construction stake-out and other tasks. Knowledge in Total Station, GPS, data collectors, and associated software is preferred. Salary dependent on experience.

Predominantly based in the Atlanta, GA area. Responsibilities (Include but not limited to): Assist Survey Party Chief in survey requests, and schedules to properly provide the most effective and efficient survey layout (computational and operational) to production operations. Assist Survey Party Chief in providing construction survey control and guidance to all of field production operations through the implementation of proper survey procedures, related quality control checks, and efficient and consistent field reports. Assist in maintaining survey equipment (calibration, maintenance, and security) and vehicle service requirements. Make arrangements for repairs as required. Holds level or rod at designated points to assist in determining elevations and laying out stakes for mapmaking, construction surveys. Performs other duties as directed by the Survey Party Chief. Interact professionally with client representative(s). Ability to abide by job site safety standards.
Experience Surveying:
1 year (required) Valid driver’s license and able to pass a drug screening. Experience with Trimble and Topcon equipment is preferred. Strong computer and technical skills. Strong communication skills (listening, writing, and verbal). Ability to work in all weather climates. Ability to walk long distances through a variety of terrains with survey equipment.
