The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting land surveys to determine property boundaries, topographic features, and other important land characteristics. This role requires proficiency in data analysis, GPS technology, and various surveying software tools such as AutoCAD and MicroStation. The Land Surveyor will work closely with engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure accurate measurements and compliance with regulations. Duties Conduct land surveys using advanced surveying equipment and technology. Analyze data collected from surveys to create detailed reports and schematics. Utilize GPS systems for precise location tracking and mapping. Prepare survey drawings using software such as AutoCAD and Revit. Collaborate with project teams to ensure that survey data meets project requirements. Perform calculations related to geometry, angles, and distances to ensure accuracy. Assist in the preparation of legal documents related to property boundaries. Engage in heavy lifting as necessary when setting up equipment or moving materials on-site. Qualifications Proficiency in data analysis skills with a strong understanding of mathematical concepts. Experience with GPS technology and surveying instruments. Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and MicroStation is preferred. Strong knowledge of schematics and geometry relevant to land surveying. Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting when required. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
