GARNEY CONSTRUCTION A
Field Engineer position is available in Raleigh, NC. In thisposition, you will act as the glue that unites the team bytranslating the information between the office engineers and theteam that is making the project come to life out on the field.
Field Engineers know what is happening out on the field and havethe ability to fill the gaps and support the team to ensure successand efficiency.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
You will be on the field day-to-day, ensuring that the work beingdone by our team and subcontractors meet engineeringspecifications. Other duties may include handling importantdocuments and ensuring that the correct materials are beingreceived and stored correctly.
Examples of daily tasks:
Surveying and lay-out job site. Processing and reviewing shop drawings. Updating as-built documents. Auditing completed construction. Complete daily and periodic report updates. Coordinating subcontractor work.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The ideal candidate will have a degree in civil engineering,construction management, or another related field and is willing totravel and work the days and hours required to ensure the project’ssuccess.
