We are looking for a Fiber Drop Surveyor to join our growing team. The Fiber Drop Surveyor will survey, design and map underground and overhead drop paths while working in cooperation with property residents. A Surveyor will be responsible for field marketing and customer acquisition campaigns. This position will be reporting out of our Murfreesboro, TN office. What’s in it for you? Plan, design and map underground and overhead drops in coordination with homeowners. Maintain detailed records of all transactions, agreements and other relevant information. Conduct field visits on a daily basis with potential customers.

Requirements:

Excellent communication and customer service skills. At least 1+ years of experience with installations and maintenance repairs in the fiber or telecommunications industry. Supervisor or Foreman experience is a plus Proficient in Internet-related applications such as email and web browsers. Thorough understanding of basic hand tools and power tools.

Able to meet physical requirements:

climb ladders, work in confined spaces and/or various heights, lift and/or move up to 50-75 lbs., squat, kneel, bend, crawl and stand for long periods of time. Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions, in confined spaces, and at heights when necessary. Self-starter with a positive attitude and willingness to work.

Schedule:

Regularly scheduled to work 40 hours a week. Willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays as needed in addition to regular travel. As part of your job duties, you may be required to travel depending on the project needs. When work is slower in your market, there may be an occasion that you would be asked to travel to another market location to help with the workload either in state or out of state. Employment is contingent on the successful completion of a pre-employment screen, including a drug test and an acceptable driving record.
