The role you’ll contribute:
The Operations Specialist is to serve as a collaborator with Operations and other key stakeholders to help fully enable and strengthen the operating model. This position supports our Sustainability Integration Team.

• The Sustainability Integration Team at AdventHealth plays a crucial role in advancing the organization’s sustainability strategy.
Their responsibilities include:
Strategic Integration:
The team works on integrating various sustainability areas such as human sustainability (health equity, workforce belonging, community advocacy), environmental sustainability, and organizational sustainability (corporate compliance, legal, risk, policies). This involves aligning strategies, measurements, communications, and reporting across these areas.
Market Activation:
They are responsible for developing tools and resources for operationalizing sustainability-related initiatives in the market, while ensuring that the organization’s sustainability efforts are effectively communicated.
Education and Orientation:
The team conducts educational sessions and orientations for the local, CEO-chaired Sustainability Councils.
Communication and Reporting:
They develop comprehensive communication plans to promote sustainability initiatives internally and externally. This includes creating awareness campaigns, developing the annual sustainability report, and ensuring that sustainability efforts are visible across various platforms, including executive meetings and briefings.
Supports the Strategic Planning and Operations team in the management of governance meeting logistics; i.e. creating agendas, compiling presentations, following up with speakers.
Supports the management of strategic and operational initiatives including workplans and timelines.
Supports key HR events to include; leadership retreats, town halls, HR Summit and more.
Supports AdventHealth’s Chief People Officer by creating visually compelling PowerPoint presentations for internal and external executive meetings.
Provides office administrative support utilizing excellent customer service skills. Specific office administration duties may include, but not limited to: preparing agendas, taking minutes, and partnering with Administrative Assistants to ensure appropriate governance structures and cadenced touchpoints.
Carries out tasks as assigned by Sr. Manager; Shows flexibility and tolerance for ambiguity and varying priorities
Recommends actions and exercises discretion regarding key business processes; Shows initiative and acts independently to resolve problems, manage multiple priorities, and follow through on projects/tasks to completion
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
:
Bachelor’s in human resources, business or related field
2 years of Human Resources experience
Expertise with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and PowerPoint
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Working knowledge of or aptitude to learn human resources disciplines applicable for assigned duties
Professional, excellent oral and written communication skills
Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Ability to handle confidential matters with maximum discretion
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCED PREFERRED
Experience working with and supporting C-Suite level executives
Strong project management skills
