Operational Transformation Specialist at MaineHealth in Portland, Maine, United States Job Description Description
Summary:
The Operation Transformation Specialist role serves as a facilitative lead and proactive coach of improvement activities by building relationship with leaders at all levels of the region, including clinicians, front line care teams and other stakeholders to assess and enhance systems to produce optimal organizational process outcomes. This role supports the planning, execution and monitoring of processes and systems tied to the MaineHealth Strategic Plan Scorecard to translate strategic goals into tactical action plans. Coaches and advises care team members on continuous improvement.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education:
Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
License/Certifications:
Lead Six Sigma White or Yellow Belt preferred.
Experience:
One year of healthcare experience preferred. Experience with strategic alignment, process improvement, change management methods, project facilitation, team building, organization/leadership development, employee engagement or other role required.

Skilled at facilitating a group process, building teams and transferring knowledge and skills. Ability to handle medium to large scale projects involving multiple resources and spanning many months.
