Role:

We are seeking a driven and skilled sustainability professional to join KUB’s Environmental Stewardship team. This position will play a key role in advancing initiatives for clean energy technologies and emissions reductions. As a Sustainability Programs Analyst, you will manage existing programs while also leading the development of new opportunities. This role will blend subject matter expertise, analytical skills, and tactical thinking to deliver impactful sustainability strategies. The ideal candidate excels in project management, cross-functional collaboration, and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination:

Design and execute novel initiatives, leading cross-functional teams, managing scoping, schedules, budgets, and developing recommendations for KUB management.

Program Management:

Oversee program operations such as data review, reporting, financial transactions, process documents, and program records.

Metrics and Reporting:

Use analytics and dashboards to measure and communicate program impacts (financials, energy, participation, emissions, etc.).

Sustainability Collaboration:

Lead collaboration with internal and external partners

  • such as TVA, government entities, industry groups, and community partners
  • to support sustainability goals.
Communication and Engagement:

Support content creation, presentations, outreach, and customer engagement. Compile data for reports, grants, and awards.

Innovation and Opportunities:

Conduct research, engage with industry partners, analyze program impacts, explore grant opportunities, and leverage data-driven insights for program design.

Qualifications Physical Requirements:

Sedentary Work

  • Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.

Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university High proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office products (i.e., Excel, Power BI, PPT, Outlook, etc.) Strong written and oral communication, interpersonal, and team skills Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environment with individuals at all levels of the organization Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license

Preferred Requirements:

Three (3) or more years developing or supporting sustainability or utility related programs Working knowledge of energy systems and technologies (energy generation, electric vehicles, grid or utility management) Experience with sustainability program management, energy or emissions data, or ESG reporting Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across teams Expertise with advanced reporting, analytics, and visualization tools (SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar) Selection Process About the
