Test TechnicianJob Description The Test Technician provides support and debug for test processes in manufacturing. Responsibilities + Perform debug and test assemblies to component level, using block diagrams and schematics. + Maintain and upkeep testing equipment. + Troubleshoot operator problems, collaborate with leadership on training and process improvements. + Provide training and ongoing support to Test operators. + Communicate problems to Test Engineer and/or leader. + Assist in performing experiments for failure analysis and root cause analysis. + Recommend additional equipment needs to leadership and/or Test Engineers for product debug areas. + Participate in Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen continuous improvement activities. + Comply with all company security policies and procedures. + Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. + Work on problems of moderate scope, requiring analysis of various factors. + Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. + Build productive internal and external working relationships. + Develop professional expertise by applying company policies and procedures to resolve issues. + Receive general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new projects or assignments. Additional Skills & Qualifications + 2-year Engineering or Technical degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. + Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, debugging, electronics, electrical schematics, and test equipment. + Experience with PCB debugging down to the component level and circuit boards. + Military test technician experience with training. + Ability to support a 24/7 global business operation as required. Work Environment This position is onsite in Huntsville, AL. The work schedule is 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The role requires the ability to support a 24/7 global business operation as needed. The work environment includes the use of various test equipment and adherence to safety and security policies. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 – $29.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
