Schedule:
$27-$30 per hour depending on experience. 4-day, 10-hour shifts (Monday-Thursday) + great opportunity for additional OT. At 50 hours per week and $30/hr. , earn weekly paychecks of $1,650 gross.
Job Summary:
Responsible for performing factory-authorized and verification testing, along with related tasks, to ensure the successful completion of OSS Umbilicals and related products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform Low Voltage (1000V) Cable Testing & Medium Voltage (6000V+) Cable Testing Conductor Resistance, Insulation Resistance, and High Potential Testing Measure resistance, continuity, voltage using test equipment. Perform & Assist in Hydrostatic Pressure Testing of SDSS Umbilicals test samples (10,000-30,000psi) Set up specialized equipment, perform leak checks by using appropriate equipment and procedures, and verify check completion. Operate forklifts and cranes to maneuver large test samples in & out of the test beds Knowledgeable about basic rigging Machine some parts and test fixtures Operate test beds and fixtures via HPUs. Operation and Basic Maintenance of High Pressure Water Jet & Hydratron Pumps Record all pertinent data, ensure correct digital recording methods are used. Setup digital recording of pressure tests (CompactRIO, NI Equipment, Pressure Transducers, etc). Ability to operate and interface with LabVIEW Ability to troubleshoot product and test equipment Knowledgeable about pumps and manifolds Ability to read and interpret schematics (electrical / fiber optic / hydraulic) Knowledgeable about fittings, pressure ratings and proper engagement Interpret test data (plots, graphs, tabulated parameters) to choose pass/fail condition and resolve when further analysis is needed. Identify and document Non-Conformance Records (NCRs) and coordinate improvements, escalate as needed. Recommending technical and procedural additions to test processes Understand, report, and review tool status. Support a safe work environment by following safe work practices, adhering to safety guidelines, utilizing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and following Lockout Tagout (LOTO) policies and procedures. Provide timely clear communication to appropriate stakeholders including testing status, tasks completed, detailed descriptions, continuous improvement ideas, and shift pass downs. Qualifications:
High school Diploma or GED 3-7 years of related experience (verification, F.A.T., cable testing, product testing, etc). Including Hydroblasting & Industrial Water Jetting, Test Engineering Technicians, Aerospace Testing, Instrumentation Technicians, Hydraulic Pressure Testing OR Associate degree with 0-2 years experience in tech or testing field.
