Position Summary:

The Test Technician role involves performing production tests, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining specialty equipment. You’ll be working with electronics and test systems, supporting both government and private sector production.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate test equipment (functional, in-circuit, environmental) Perform electronic and optical testing: oscilloscopes, power meters, RF tools, etc. Record and analyze test data; make recommendations for improvements Diagnose and troubleshoot to component level Maintain and calibrate tools and equipment (metric and standard) Read and interpret blueprints and design specs (e.g., Tx/Rx channels, connector orientation) Follow strict health, safety, and environmental compliance policies Collaborate with engineering to improve processes and tooling Alert team to defects, damage, or documentation issues

Required Skills & Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent 0-3 years of experience (entry-level welcome) Strong understanding of electronic testing and measurement tools Comfortable with English and metric measurements; can convert between the two Ability to read and follow detailed production paperwork and specs Familiar with Lean Manufacturing and open to continuous improvement Must be able to read, write, and speak
